Arrow Motorized Cycles
After some searching on the net for a reed valve intake, i came across a company selling specialised parts for motorised bicycle engines but so far (and without result) haven't received any contact, even after sending numerous emails.
Arrow Motorized Cycles: http://www.arrowmotorizedcycles.com
I desperately want their CNC Ported Cylinder and Reed Valve Intake but precious little has come of it.
Maybe someone on here knows the person behind the design and manufacture of these parts and can get the message across.
I wish to purchase:
2 x Power Reed Block Kit - Narrow Bolt Pattern, side shot
2 x High Performance Ported Cylinders (47mm bore)
1 x Stock Rechambered Cylinder Head to suit (47mm bore)
Fingers crossed that Arrow Motorized Cycles gets the message.
Just found their eBay page: http://myworld.ebay.com/arrowmotorizedcycles/
Tried contacting the seller through his eBay site but it does not allow any contact, as the following appears when trying to select any option for contact: We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing.

Hes right though, that one is over priced and a pos. Youll find everything you listed above here, Reed kit , at a lot less cost, from someone who knows what they are doing and higher quality parts. Most of my "bolt-on" has come from there.
Zoom in on both images, and youll see the difference in quality...not to mention the bolts.

Forgive me for not realising that you embedded the link.
I do happen to have the RSE reed valve intake on my bike with the thermal isolation spacer as well as the Walbro style diaphragm carburettor:

Re: Arrow Motorized Cycles
The more time goes on, the more aftermarket kits will become available for these engines, and it will take the monopoly out of the hands that do make good products but give really bad customer service.
When the customer has an equally good second option, that will force those manufacturers with bad customer service to smarten up their act.

Re: Arrow Motorized Cycles
only if i had access to the machinery i would make parts and have that respect that we all deserve. i have worked customer service jobs and have been the angered customer, i have learned not to take things personally and have the integrity that when i have work to do it will get done.
Integrity is what many if not all companies and employees have a problem with.

Re: Arrow Motorized Cycles
OK, little late but I'm going to place a shorter wrist pin position remover the gt5a and run the gt5 or try to, there is ~2.5 mm deck height difference with that the ports will open quicker and remain open longer. So why does that make up for not owning a CNC reed kit ? Don't know it will but the secondary fueling it so scarce on this 66 the way it is out of the box I'll remove some of the piston skirt and give it a try theory is it will pull more fuel and a trick to add an ounce or two of 2 stroke oil in the crankcase to take up some volume it should fire decent an without further enhancement to grind off some excess mass off the connecting rod and piston ? Yeah OK with, will it work well enough to waste time on ? Again theory is most likely it will cost less than the reed block and work as well overall. The gt5 piston was $10.00..

Re: Arrow Motorized Cycles
I have messed around with a great many variations on engine configuration.
The reed valve intake system is the best option for improving low and midrange torque with a mildly modified muffler attached to the exhaust port.

Re: Arrow Motorized Cycles
I've just viewed the Arrow offer's they appear decent for the lazy folk wanting to bolt it on out of the box hey 9.5 horsepower that's decent for the size of it less than 30 lbs. But truth is you can grab some billet aluminum off eBay and copy the factory parts with a Dremel in a router table and I'd not doubt you'd get at least 9 horsepower with basic porting I'd be tempted to pick up the crankshaft @$99.00 that's if I'd known it is a solid 4340 journal with square keyways easy to work with and match mag and worm ..Well my theory again is created by less mass /weight moved by the volume of fuel to arrive at the conclusion but the aluminum is not pure platinum and would not withstand a lot of hours.........Donovan here
