Felt Deep Six Empty Felt Deep Six

Post by biknut Sat Nov 03 2012, 09:00

This is my Felt Deep Six. I'm going to start motorizing it soon. My plan is to seal the tank frame, and use it as the fuel tank. I've been collecting parts for a while now, and think I have most of what I need. I'm using KW Machine motor mounts, and chain tensioner. I have a Sturmey Archer X-FD front brake hub.

The hardest part for me is going the be sealing the frame. If anyone has any tips please feel free to offer help. I'm going to use Caswell epoxy gas tank sealer.

That's a nicely styled bike; the red rims and white tyres look good

Thanks,

The tires look good right now, but I don't think they'll be as nice for a motor bicycle. I'll probably change them for some black tires. I love the red rims though.
